Homecoming Parade set in BHC
BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police Department would like to notify residents of expected traffic delays on Thursday, October 3 for Mohave High School’s annual homecoming parade.
The parade will kick-off at 6 p.m. from Mohave High School on Hancock Road at Hoppa’s Drive and continue west on Hancock Road to the intersection of Hancock Road and Lakeside Drive. Westbound traffic on Hancock Road will be diverted down Palma Road and traffic will be restricted on Hancock Road around Lakeside Drive.

National Night Out is October 2
BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City Police and Fire Departments, along with Mohave Electric Cooperative, will host National Night Out this Wednesday, October 2nd at 5 p.m., in the Bullhead City Police Department parking lot, 1255 Marina Boulevard.
National Night Out is America’s largest crime prevention event that enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. It also provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.

BCSD to host meeting for special ed families
BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City School District (BCSD) will hold its annual community informational meeting to discuss special education services available to local students. The Child Find and Proportionate Share programs are grant-funded, using BCSD special educational professionals to assist students.
Referral information is also provided to parents and guardians for those children not yet in school. Child Find helps local public school districts identify students who may have a disability.

Bullhead City to cut ribbon on skatepark improvements
BULLHEAD CITY —The City of Bullhead City invites everyone to a ribbon cutting for the newly refurbished skate park at Rotary Park, located at 2315 Balboa Dr, on Saturday, September 28, at 9:00 a.m. The celebratory event will include musical performances from local musicians, Food trucks including Guerro’s Food Truck, and Infuzed Inergy, and free Vans Swag donated by Steve Van Doren. Health issues may have been factor in fatal crash
BULLHEAD CITY – Health issues are a suspected factor as Bullhead City police investigate the death of a man in a traffic related incident. Initial crashes were reported about 10:00 am Friday, Sept. 20.
“Police responded to the 700 block of Morro Cove where it was reported a man collided with property in the 2200 block of Coronado Drive and then backed up and struck another property on Morro Drive,” said police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt. “Lifesaving efforts were initiated, and the driver was transported to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.”
