BULLHEAD CITY – Children’s books and study materials no longer used in classrooms will be available for purchase at the next sale hosted by the Bullhead City School District. The public may visit on October 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
This week’s sale of older curriculum items has moved to a new location in a storage building immediately behind the District Office at 1004 Hancock Road, in Suite 400. That building is also just west of Bullhead City Middle School and just north of Coyote Canyon School.
BULLHEAD CITY – If one person’s trash is another person’s treasure, surplus supplies in the Bullhead City School District may be someone’s gold mine. The district will be launching a series of ongoing warehouse sales on August 15 and 29, plus September 12, with more to follow.
The first three will be held in the former kindergarten building for Mountain View School, located at the southeast corner of Optimum Way (Third Street) and Lee Avenue.
BULLHEAD CITY – Bullhead City School District governing board members have approved a plan limiting students’ cellphones and backpacks when the new school year starts July 29.
Under the new policy, student cellphones will be turned off and parked all day in locked and secure cabinets. Backpacks will still be allowed for students in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade, but prohibited for middle and junior high students.
