SONIC Drive-In donates $2,957 to Kingman teachers

To honor the creative efforts teachers have made to maneuver their ever-shifting learning environments and keep students engaged this past year, SONIC® Drive-In donated $1.5 million to teacher requests on national education nonprofit site DonorsChoose on Teacher Appreciation Day, May 4. As part of SONIC’s ongoing Limeades for Learning initiative, the $1.5 million donation helped fund more than 7,000 teacher requests across the country in need of critical resources, including two teachers in Kingman, Ariz., who received a combined donation of $2,957.00. Nicole Nee Logan, of El Mirage, Ariz., died Monday, Oct. 12, 2020. She was 28. Ms. Logan was born March 20, 1992 in Kingman, Ariz. A viewing will be held Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to noon at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home., with services following at 1 p.m. Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
