Suspicious fire under investigation at Arcadia Lodge

KINGMAN – Firefighters were called to a single-family residence fire at Arcadia Lodge in downtown Kingman on Monday, May 11. Kingman fire crews found heavy smoke and fire in the residence. According to a Kingman Fire Department spokesperson, no one was in the residence at the time of the fire. However, all residents of the lodge were evacuated, and one evacuee was treated at the scene with oxygen as he had left his in his unit upon evacuating.

Smoke, fire and water damage was noted throughout the structure, but was contained to the single unit.

Fire investigators were called to the scene as the fire appeared suspicious, possibly human caused. Investigators are continuing to work with Kingman Police Department detectives.
