Summer teen volunteer program taking applications

Lake Havasu City Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for the Summer Teen Volunteer program for teens ages 14 to 17.  Interested teens must be 14 years old by April 11 in order to participate in program. The Summer Teen Volunteer program provides teens the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of recreation. The program is designed to improve communication and teamwork skills while teaching young adults to work with the Summer Camp participants.

Registration packets are available at the Aquatic Center and must be returned not later than Tuesday, April 9.   For more information, contact Sarah Ross at 928-854-0893.
