Striping to Begin on Various City Roads

KINGMAN – The City of Kingman will begin striping recently chip sealed roads Saturday, June 26 through Wednesday, June 30, 2021, weather permitting. During this time there will be travel delays and reduced speeds due to lane restrictions. The City of Kingman urges motorists to pay extra attention while driving in and around work zones, maintenance vehicles, and encourages the importance of maintaining safe and smart driving habits during the construction season, and at all times, when operating a motor vehicle.

Road striping:

  • Sunshine Drive and Rock Road
  • Burbank Street
  • Bank Street (Airway Avenue to Townsend St.)
  • North Stockton Hill Road (North of Gordon Drive to Stockton Hill Road City Limits)
  • Western Ave. Sycamore Ave, 6th St., Anson Smith Rd.
  • Fort Beale Dr.

Please use alternative routes if possible and obey slower speed limits in work zones. Up-to-date street closures will be located on the City of Kingman’s engineering website page of interactive Maps through the city’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS): https://www.cityofkingman.gov/government/departments/engineering/gis
