Stabbing victim was Good Samaritan

KINGMAN – On Sunday, October 20, at about 3 a.m., Kingman Police arrested Bryan Forbes, 25, of Modesto, Calif., on a felony charge of aggravated assault. According to a press release, officers responded to the 1700 block of Beverly Ave., regarding the report of a person having been stabbed. Officers observed Forbes in the area, holding a knife.

The victim, a 27-year-old Kingman man, was located and treated for a stab wound to his arm. The victim reported Forbes chasing a woman, and that he attempted to intervene. During this time Forbes is alleged to have stabbed the victim in the arm before fleeing on foot.

Forbes admitted involvement in the stabbing. The female is reported to have fled on foot and was not located.
