He said he knows more about the military than anyone in the military because he went to ‘military high school’. This is who the war with Iran is in the hands of. Even said he, ‘doesn’t care” if he makes a peace agreement which is apparent with the horrendous remarks he keeps tweeting out leaving us and the world dumbfounded and aghast that’s putting our troops in further danger in the Middle East where they’re dying and being wounded and thousand being killed.
Donald J. Trump should be scaring the bejeezus out of all of us ‘especially’ those with loved ones in the military. While he’s profiteering with this war mongering he’s making financial gains selling national security info at $1,000 a pop with his National Security briefing memberships and enriches himself with his precarious International Peace Organization charging a fee of $1 billion that to no surprise consists of leaders of countries with repressive and authoritarian regimes.
And more over problematic Trump and his family receiving in the billions in gifts and business dealings in the Middle East. Just Saudi Arabia and Qatar alone are shady stories in themselves that continue to be a subject of ethical scrutiny while Republican leaders hold their nose. It stinks to high heaven!
Regardless how one tries to justify us being dug in deep in the Middle East it’s spurious, nonetheless. With Putin in one ear and Netanyahu in the other as if all three have aligned their plans. Trump helps take the eyes of the world off the decades-long inhumanity of Gaza and now that no oil is coming out of the Middle East Russia is selling oil like never before thus giving Putin greater spending power for his weapons of choice that won’t end well for Ukraine.
While the spillover effect here we all know by now farmers warn they’ll be shortage in crops due to the loss of life sustaining products that come through the Strait of Hormuz that Trump turned into a hot mess starting a war. Now it’s like the arsonist trying to put out the fire he started only making it worse and we’re paying the price for it.
And it’s not just with oil even though oil is a major hit that Trump said he knows the cost of gas would go up warring with Iran yet claims we’re still doing great! And so audacious to say, “the price of oil going up is making us richer.”
Yeah, for the oil companies but not us! Either Trump’s totally incompetent or thought Iron would be another smash and grab like Venezuela or a diversion from the Epstein files and all of the ICE debacles and the killings of Pretti and Good or the millions going without health insurance none of the above is making America great or putting America first. Regardless the rhymes or reasons for anything Trump does or says he and Hegseth’s little lack of respect for the values of life is shocking at best.
Hegseth saying international laws are “stupid and useless” yet they’ve been in place since post-WWII for good reasons, to prevent a WWIII and Trump saying the Iran war will end when he feels it in “his bones.” As if he’s now a prophet and a seer?
Bur moreover concerning when he said he might reenact the military draft. Which doesn’t sound like Trump’s wars (plural) are ending anytime soon.
The spillover effect with where all of this is going will not end well in the short-run and long-run for us and our children and the future of our country.
