Sounds of Kingman presents their third free concert

Sounds of Kingman along with their sponsor Larry Carver, AAMB Financial Advisor with Edward Jones is proud to bring the third free concert in the Park featuring Doug Barnett! The concert will begin at 4 p.m. on June 23 at Metcalfe Park, 315 W Beale St, Kingman. June brings a new group to the Metcalfe Park Concert scene, but Doug and Barbara Barnett have been playing in the Kingman area—and elsewhere around Arizona—for some time.

They are enthusiastically looking forward to their debut with them! Doug has a three-octave range, a strong, broad voice, and finger-style acoustic guitar picking; is performance-ready on over 200 songs; and has the versatility to have mastered multiple genres (including pop, country, western, light rock, southern rock, bluegrass, and folk). If that weren’t enough, he has produced over 100 original songs and 11 indie albums. In addition to many performances state-wide, Doug (guitar and vocals) and Barbara (vocals, guitar, flute) have performed locally at the Black Bridge Brewery and at Diana’s Cellar Door. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy their Concert in the Park. It’s cool in the shade and lovely and green. Bring your lawn chair or blanket and your picnic and come join us at Metcalfe Park. See you there!
