BULLHEAD CITY – Silver Copper Crossing officially opened Friday, June 7, and links Arizona and Nevada just eight miles south of Bullhead City. The $60.6 million project began in November 2021, and is the third bridge linking Bullhead City and Laughlin, Nev. It spans 724 feet and sits 35 feet above the Colorado River.
Festivities began at 9 a.m. with free donuts and snow cones, followed by a ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. officiated by Bullhead City Mayor Steve D’Amico and Nevad Commissioner Michael Naft. Festivities soon moved to the Anderson Fieldhouse in Bullhead City, which sported vendors and live music throughout the day.
