Brady Shuffler
KINGMAN – Two manslaughter count convict Brady Shuffler has been repositioned in the Arizona state prison system. Shuffler was 17 last April when he pleaded guilty in the traffic related deaths of two teenage friends and began serving an 18-year prison term imposed by a Phoenix judge.
Shuffler was housed with other juveniles segregated from adults in the Sunrise Unit of the Lewis complex prison in Buckeye for many months. Shuffler turned 18 on Thursday, February 13, and has been transported to southern Arizona where he is now held in the Santa Rita unit of the state prison in Tucson.
The Arizona Department of Corrections website said that ten housing units at the Tucson complex can house more than 4,300 inmates. It also projects a late August 2039 release date for Shuffler.
