Shooting death under investigation

LAKE HAVASU CITY – Police are conducting a death investigation in Lake Havasu City. Public Information Officer Sgt. Michael Terrinoni said officers responded at 10:18 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 8 to a report of a shooting in the 3700 block of Hiawatha Dr.

“Upon arrival, officers located a male subject within the residence, who has been identified as a 32-year-old Lake Havasu City resident, deceased from a suspected gunshot wound,” Terrinoni said. “During the course of the investigation, it was learned by detectives that the male decedent was believed to have been in a physical altercation with his wife … prior to the shooting.”

There’s no word whether the 30-year-old woman was injured. No arrests are reported and the names of the couple are withheld as the investigation continues.
