Shaw takes plea for sex offenses at group home

BULLHEAD CITY – A Bullhead City woman who committed sex offenses involving a 14-year-old boy at a group home in Kingman has entered a plea agreement. Jamie Shaw, 40, will be convicted of sexually motivated aggravated assault, while child molestation and unlawful sexual conduct counts are dismissed in the deal.

Authorities said Shaw was working for Harbor house in the 1900 block of Pacific Avenue where the boy was lodged when the crime occurred on May 15. Shaw reportedly made out with the victim and performed a manual sex act upon him.

Terms of the deal require Judge Doug Camacho to place Shaw on probation at a Sept. 19 sentencing hearing. Shaw would be released on that date, after spending a little more than four months in custody.
