Sarah Colleen Gunn

Sarah Colleen Gunn entered into eternal rest on January 21, 2026, at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Born in Grand Junction, Colorado, on September 18, 1977, Sarah was 48 years old.

Sarah fought a courageous 13-year battle with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH). She far surpassed her doctors’ original life expectancy, a testament to her remarkable resilience, strength, and unwavering spirit. Her strength was fueled by the love and prayers of the many people who cared deeply for her.

Throughout her lifetime, Sarah touched countless people. She was always ready to lend a helping hand. Her kindness knew no limits, and her compassion left a lasting impression that will be felt long after her passing.

Originally from Clearlake Oaks, California, Sarah later made her home in Golden Valley, Arizona. She held a deep love for the Clearlake community and cherished the people and memories she built there.

Sarah was preceded in death by her sister, Aileen Gail McMahan; her aunt, Jodi Lynn Meyers; her grandfather, William Thomas Getty; her grandmother Donna Rodrick; and her father-in-law, William Walter Gunn.

She is survived by loving husband and soulmate, Peter Crawford Gunn; her children, Summer Gunn (David Bagent), Autumn (Andrew) Brazil, and Calie Gunn (Jay Duncan); her parents, Janet and William McMahan; her sister, Tiffany Blackford-Minard (Darren); her aunts, Leanne Getty, Lisa Schuetz and Connie Carl; her uncles, William Robert Getty and David Getty; her grandmother, Dorothy Getty; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family will be holding a private viewing on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

The family respectfully requests that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Sarah Gunn’s GoFundMe page, which can be found on Google by searching Sarah Gunn’s GoFundMe Fundraiser by Autumn Gunn.

Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
