Lake Havasu City police report the arrest of a Parker man shortly after he allegedly committed a violent robbery at a business late Thursday night. The 11:05 p.m. traffic stop of a suspect vehicle on Highway 95 resulted in the arrest of Kerrigon Russell, 23.

Police and Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded at 10:52 p.m. to a robbery reported at the Havasu Adult Book Store at 3590 London Bridge Road.

“An unidentified male suspect entered the store, assaulted a female employee, bound her with zip ties and fled the business with an undisclosed amount of cash,” a press release stated. Authorities said the woman whose hands had been secured to a metal hand rail suffered facial swelling and a bloody lip.

Lake Havasu City police said Russell is believed to have committed a similar robbery of the Sally Beauty Supply store at 5601 Highway 95 on April 29. Evidentiary items connecting to both robberies were reportedly found during a search of his vehicle.

“Several zip ties consistent with the two robberies, an off-road style face mask, a pair of brass knuckles and $674 in cash were recovered,” the press release said. “A driver’s license belonging to the Sally Beauty Supply robbery victim was also located.”

Russell was booked into the Adult Detention facility in Kingman on armed robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault charges.
