Ruby Anne Burley

Ruby Anne Burley died peacefully after a short illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, William (Bill) McKinley Burley Jr., and her youngest son Donald B.

She is survived by her sons William C. (Lisa, deceased), Robert (Angela), and Richard. She also leaves two grandchildren, Shaina A. (Taylor), of Wasilla, AK, and Eric W. Burley (Kris) of Tucson, AZ and three great-grandchildren Calder, of Wasilla, AK, Mackenzie M., and Ryan W., from Tucson.

She was born in San Diego, CA to Violet Bernice and career Navy man Irvin C. Ruff in 1931. She met her husband Bill while living in Norfolk, VA whom she married in 1952.  

She spent many years in Albuquerque, NM, Webster, NY, and most recently Norfolk, VA, and Kingman, AZ.

She enjoyed family, knitting, crocheting, fishing, and being with friends. She was a loving grandmother who always had a kind word and loved to share stories about family. Funeral services are pending.  

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your charity of choice.

Sutton Memorial Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
