Roxy’s Quilt and Sew adds sewing center

Roxy’s Quilt and Sew celebrate her newly added BERNINA Sewing Center in Fort Mohave last week with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce. The much-anticipated addition to the local business landscape did not disappoint as dozens of area quilters and local civic leaders perused the perfectly decorated rooms of quilts, class space, sewing machine displays and fabrics. Among those attending and picture are Chamber Ambassadors Carey Fearing, George Smith, Terri Sponder, Yvette Pursley, Jeanette McCartney, Jeanette Pigeon, Sam Schintzler, Janice Berkenheger, and Chamber Director JoElle Hurns. Owner of Roxy’s Quilt and Sew Roxy and her husband David Stroth are joined by staff members and quilter enthusiasts Karen Montez, Annette Slocombe, Marina Day, Lindajoy Brown, Sherall Gradias, Raylene Salazar,Mickey Latuska and Donna Cueto. Rozy’s Quilt and Sew will offer classes to those who want to pick up the art of quilting and sewing. They will also provide machine sales as well as servicing.
