Road work and chip sealing next week

MOHAVE COUNTY – The citizens of Mohave County can expect the following activity from Mohave County Public Works during the week of March 30:

Arizona Strip: Road grading on 1) Mt. Trumbull Loop and 2) Mt. Dellenbaugh Rd. in Colorado City.

Kingman: Road grading on Calle Lucero. Crews will repairing pot holes and making right-of-way repairs in the Butler area and removing debris from culverts along Stockton Hill Rd.

Hackberry: Road grading on 1) Antares Rd. and 2) Brooks Blvd.

Wikieup: Road grading on Signal Rd. Yucca: Road grading on 1) Planet Ranch Rd., 2) Alamo Rd. from Mile 30 to Mile 45, 3) Apache Rd. and 4) National Old Trails Hwy.

Hualapai Mountain Area: Road grading on Silver Springs Rd.

Golden Valley: Road grading on S: 1) Kirkland Rd. from Shinarump Dr. to Vandergriff Dr. and 2) Aquarius Dr. from Oatman Hwy. to Centennial Rd. SW: 1) Redwall Dr. from Verde Rd. to Teddy Roosevelt Rd. and 3) Teddy Roosevelt Rd. from Shipp Dr. to Shinarump Dr. Work on Shinarump Dr. between Aztec Rd. and Colorado Rd. remains ongoing. Perco Rock has been contracted by Mohave County to harden the lowwater crossings, improve ditches/drainage, construct subgrade and place road base; this process will take approximately two months. The road section will be closed during this period.

Dolan Springs: Road grading on 1) Calico Dr. from Pierce Ferry Rd. to Third St., 2) Third St. from Calico Dr. to Canyon Dr. 3) Seventeenth St. from Pierce Ferry Rd. to Merry Dr. and 4) Seventeenth St. from Pierce Ferry Rd. to Kitmit Dr.

Meadview: Pulling road shoulders and repairing pot holes on Pierce Ferry Rd. from Diamond Bar Rd. to park boundary. Also, crews will be doing storm clean-up on Sandy Point Dr. from Haystack Dr. to Diamond Creek Ln.

Mohave Valley: Crews will be chip sealing in the Bermuda Dunes and Willow Valley areas of Mohave Valley. Also, they will be street sweeping in the Sun Valley area and doing storm clean-up in the Tierra Del Rio area of Fort Mohave.

The Road Division will be chip sealing roads beginning the week of March 30.

Please have all vehicles off the street and Right of Way between the hours of 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Any vehicles parked on the street will be towed by Mohave County Sheriff’s Department. Roads will not be closed. Please travel with care. The Road Division will be chip sealing roads in your area on the following date/days:

 March 30 and 31

SUBDIVISION: BERMUDA DUNES

The Road Division will be chip sealing roads in your area on the following date/days:

April 1 and 2

SUBDIVISION: WILLOW VALLEY

  1. Kingman had real road problems on Eastern. The patches dont work and we just blew a front tire. It’s where eastern starts at Diamond and around the curve! Also turning from Eastern into Stewart!
