Reward offered for bank robbery tips

BULLHEAD CITY – The Bullhead City police department has issued surveillance system images of the woman who robbed Foothills bank on February 5. The public is asked to help identify the suspect and Mohave Silent Witness is offering a reward up to $1,500 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

Police spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said the woman entered the Foothills Bank at 3651 on Highway 95 at about 4:00 p.m. She reportedly fled with an undisclosed amount of cash after handing a teller a demand note.

“The suspect is described as a white female, approximately over the age of 50, wearing a black baseball hat, sunglasses and a black cloth mask over her face,” Fromelt said. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Bullhead City Police Department at (928) 763-1999 or Mohave Silent Witness at (928) 753-1234. Callers may remain anonymous.
