Residential fire in Havasu leaves one person with minor injuries

LAKE HAVASU CITY — One civilian sustained minor injuries in a May 21 residential structure fire in Lake Havasu City. Fire Department personnel responded at 4:00 p.m. to the incident in the 3300 block of Saddleback Drive.

“The first responding Battalion Chief reported an active attic fire,” according to a city-issued news release. Crews associated with four engine companies and one truck company brought the fire under control within 40 minutes.

Salvage operations continued for another two hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
