Reader claims problems began in 2022

Dear Editor,

What I picked up on our president’s speech is we need more balls in D.C. The president stated he signed a bill on no more inside trading by elected officials. Shummer looked like he was sinking into his seat. The man’s net worth is $99 million. How disrespectful to the taxpayers of this country. Our tax dollars were going out the back door into other countries for too long now. As well for nonsense programs and nonsense research. These officials belong in prison.

When cameras swept the room, the left side looked like sulking juveniles.

Tariffs helped build this country. Don’t they teach simple arithmetic in schools anymore?

Why is there a two-party system anyway? Just do the job you’re sent to D.C. to do for the country. For its citizens.

Far too many lifetime citizens who are elderly, are living 400% below the poverty level.

Cost of living went up 17%, rental unit costs skyrocketed. Food prices absolutely literally doubled. All this in 2022 to 2024. Fix these issues.

When law enforcement asks you to back off, you back off or go to jail, period.

If you are born here, yes you are a citizen. However, if you parent has not applied for citizenship, that parent is at full fault for any legal rights and disruption occurs in that family.
