Prochazka takes plea for meth trafficking

LAKE HAASU CITY – A second Apple Valley, California man has entered a plea agreement for bringing drugs for sale to Lake Havasu City. Jeffery Prochazka, 36, pleaded guilty March 6 to possession of dangerous drugs for sale.

Lake Havasu City police observed Prochazka and co-defendant Adrian Viera, 40, behaving suspiciously in the parking lot of the Maverik convenience market on McCulloch Boulevard on Nov.11, 2025. Officers trailed their Mercedes and effected a traffic stop on Nolina Lane.

A search of the vehicle netted seizure of a little more than an ounce of methamphetamine, a loaded 9 mm pistol, a digital scale, and baggies used to package drugs. $1,500 in cash possessed by Prochazka was also confiscated and authorities said the contents of his cellphone included incriminating drug transaction communication.

Prochazka is eligible for supervised probation, but he could also get up to seven years in prison at his April 10 sentencing hearing. Viera is already serving a five-year prison sentence after pleading guilty in Jan.
