President Trump is reshaping the country across the board

letter to the editor

Dear Editor,

Democrats and the left still don’t seem to understand the concept of meritocracy—the philosophy that rewards individuals for doing a good job based on merit, rather than simply handing out participation trophies. If you ran a business and had an employee who consistently botched a critical report time and time again, you’d fire that person.

That’s exactly what President Trump did with Erika McEntarfer, Commissioner of the Bureau of Labor Statistics. She allegedly inflated job numbers ahead of the 2024 election to favor Biden, and now, to make President Trump’s economy appear worse. In fact, her numbers are reportedly the most inaccurate in fifty years.

President Trump is reshaping the country across the board—from government employees to the budget, which he balanced for the first time using income from tariffs. He also pressured NATO nations to pay their fair share, passed a sweeping tax reform bill, saved Medicaid by removing freeloaders, and deported illegal criminals. And let’s not forget the MAHA movement, which aims to literally shape up the nation.

It’s sad to see the lost and leaderless Democrats struggle without any real policies or ideas—just complaints and vitriol.
