Plan for lane closures on US 93 south of Wikieup Oct. 17 for maintenance

Drivers should expect delays
The Arizona Department of Transportation advises motorists with
travel plans on US 93 south of Wikieup to plan ahead and expect delays of up to 15 minutes on Thursday, Oct. 17.
North- and southbound lane closures are scheduled to occur from
6 a.m. to 5 p.m., from south of Signal Road to south of the Burro Creek
Bridge (mileposts 133 to 142).
The restrictions are necessary so crews can place a sealant over the
existing asphalt, which helps to protect and extend the life of the highway pavement.
ADOT reminds motorists to use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unforeseen
factors. For more information, please call theADOT Bilingual Project
Information Line at 855.712.8530 or go to azdot.gov/contact and select
Projects from the drop-down menu. For real-time highway conditions
statewide, visit ADOT’s Traveler Information Site at www.az511.gov,
follow ADOT on Twitter (@ArizonaDOT) or call 511, except while driving.
