PetSmart celebrates National Pet Adoption Week

MOHAVE COUNTY – October 21 through 27 is PetSmart Charities National Adoption Week. It is a weeklong event and Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter volunteers will be holding adoption events at two PetSmart locations!

Wednesday October 23 there will be a Pop Up Puppy Palooza at Kingman PetSmart. Check the Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter Facebook page to see the beautiful puppies that will be available!

Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 25, 26 and 27 they will be at PetSmart Kingman, 3260 Stockton Hill Rd., and Bullhead, 3699 Arizona 95 from 10 a.m. to 1p.m.

Adoption fees are for adult dogs over 35 pounds are sponsored by Best Friends Animal Society.

New dogs become available every day so check Friends of Mohave County Animal Shelter on Facebook to see what dogs will be at the location.

There will be plenty of cats and kittens from the Mohave County Animal Shelter and Feral Cat Warriors at both locations during PetSmart’s normal operating hours. Adoption fees for kittens and cats are $75 to $95, cash only.

All shelter animals are spayed or neutered; microchipped and current on vaccines.

Each come with a free wellness check with a local veterinarian as well as a coupon book from PetSmart with huge savings on everything you will need to bring your furry friend home.

The shelter is open Monday – Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 3423 N Burbank St., in Kingman, 928-753-2727.
