Pet adoption available at Oktoberfest

KINGMAN – Volunteers will have puppies and dogs from the Mohave County Animal Shelter available for adoption at the Rt. 66 Rotary Club Octoberfest this Friday, Oct. 6 from 2 p.m. to dusk and Saturday, October 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Metcalfe Park, 315 W. Beale St.

Many of these beautiful dogs have been at the shelter for a little while and shelter staff is excited to show them off to potential adopters while giving them a fun day at the park!

Adoption fees for dogs over one year and over 40 pounds are subsidized so you can bring home your new best friend for just $25.

All are spayed or neutered; microchipped and current on vaccines. All dogs are sent home with a new martingale collar and leash included in their fee!

Adoption fees also include a free wellness check with a local veterinarian and discounts on everything you will need provided by PetSmart and Petco.
