It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia J. Avery. Born on October 12, 1942, and journeying into eternal rest on June 21, 2025, she lived a life filled with warmth, love, and unyielding dedication to her family and beloved dogs.
Patricia is survived by her loving sons, Michael, Gerald, and Gregory Peddicord. She was predeceased by her son, Mark Lawrence. She cherished the bond she had with all her children, considering them her greatest accomplishment.
Renowned for her zest for life, Patricia was best described as a woman who lived fully for her family, friends, and dogs. Her infectious love for life was reflected in her favorite pastime – spending time with her beloved dogs. She was an ardent fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks, her joy for the game rivaling her passion for delicious Burritos from Tito’s Tacos in Culver City, CA. Passionate about all she did, Patricia’s bright spirit was a beacon of light to all who knew her.
Patricia staunchly believed in treating waitstaff kindly and generously, a testament to her compassionate nature and her experience as a waitress. She imparted this wisdom to those around her, always maintaining that kindness should extend to all, regardless of their station. She was an embodiment of generosity and empathy, demonstrating this through her daily interactions.
Patricia leaves an indelible legacy, having shaped the lives of her three sons and two grandchildren. Though her physical presence will be missed, the impact of her life will continue to resonate within the hearts and minds of those she cherished. Her wisdom, love, and vibrant spirit will forever be a guiding force in their lives.
We extend our deepest condolences to those mourning the loss of Patricia Avery. May her soul rest in eternal peace and may those she leaves behind find solace in the beautiful memories they shared.
