Parade of Lights will feature patriotic theme

KINGMAN – Join Kingman Downtown Merchants Association (KDMA) for their annual lighted Christmas parade in downtown Kingman on Saturday, Dec. 7, beginning at 7 p.m. This year’s theme is “A Very Merry Stars and Stripes Parade of Lights – Pearl Harbor Day”. View dozens of beautifully lit vehicles and floats along with marching bands and Mr. and Mrs. Claus’ sleigh proceed down Beale Street between First and Fifth Sts. Following the parade, the City of Kingman will perform their annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony in Locomotive Park. KINGMAN – Kingman Union School District (KUSD) will be providing school closure meal service free to all children and teens ages 18 and under. Children must be present to receive meals. Meals will consist of breakfast and lunch items and will be available drive-up and walk-up, to take away. No enrollment is necessary. The Mohave County Military Vehicle Group will be at the Mohave County Fairgrounds for Murphy’s Gun Show on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 8 and 9  from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday!
