KINGMAN – Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center (KHAC) will host its monthly movie night on Friday, July 31 beginning at 6 p.m. The featured movie is Ninotchka, an American romantic comedy featuring Greta Garbo, Melvyn Douglas, and Ina Clair. Steve Conn will provide historical and behind-the-scenes commentary before the movie starts. Family and friends are welcome. Popcorn, snacks and drink will be available. A $2 donation is requested. Application deadline Oct. 31 for $380,000 in grants The Arizona Game and Fish Department is accepting applications for $380,000 in Heritage Fund grants through 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31.  Grant funding will be available through a competitive application process in the following categories: schoolyard habitat, urban wildlife/habitat, public access, and Identification, Inventory, Acquisition, Protection and Management (IIAPM).  In addition to local, county, state, federal and tribal governmental agencies, school districts and public charter schools, the department welcomes non-profit organizations to apply for a Heritage Grant as eligible applicants.
