Overnight work to build a right-turn lane at Marina Boulevard on State Route 95 in Bullhead City begins June 7

The Arizona Department of Transportation will construct a new right-turn lane on State Route 95 at Marina Boulevard in Bullhead City, beginning Tuesday, June 7, through September.

  • Construction will mostly take place during the overnight hours from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., from Sunday evenings through Friday mornings.
  • Most of the work will take place off the roadway; however, there will be times when intermittent lane closures will be necessary.

Work includes installing a right turn lane onto Marina Boulevard from the southbound direction of SR 95, installing new curb and gutter, replacement of sidewalk ramps, replacing traffic signal poles, relocating electrical cabinets, paving and lane striping.

ADOT reminds motorists to slow down in the work zone, and use caution around construction personnel and equipment.
