Oatman recall

OATMAN – Two write-in candidates have unseated incumbents in a special recall election in the Oatman Fire District. Results from Tuesday’s balloting remain unofficial pending canvas. A Mohave County Elections Department post indicates challenger Darin Lowrey knocked off board chairman James Tobin 25-4. Challenger Ronnie Walker beat Board Clerk Mike Gonzales 24-0.

The District’s 41 other registered voters did not cast ballots in the election.
