LAKE HAVASU CITY – You know the holiday season is in full swing when Women With Willpower (WWW) break out their beautiful Christmas trees at their O’ Christmas Tree Festival on Sunday, Nov. 26 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the London Bridge Resort.

For the past 12 years, their O’Christmas tree fundraising event displays a variety of beautifully decorated trees.

This year, the event will have 15 to 17 Christmas trees that will be raffled off. Each tree has a price value of $250 minimum. Some 35 baskets will also be included in a 50/50 raffle. Reservations for the event are required and can be made by calling 928-854-8665.

Tickets are $50 and includes a luncheon. Tickets can be purchased at Shop – Women With Willpower.

All proceeds will go to charitable organizations and recipients of WWW. WWW vice-president Sherri Ashford has been with the organization for 14 years and appreciates the various journeys that women have shared with her over the years. “I like hearing their stories and knowing that we are the ones behind the women who are in need so that they are able to carry on.”

WWW is a nonprofit organization that works with other like-minded nonprofits to determine the financial needs of women experiencing hardships in their life. WWW has assisted charitable groups such as Faith and Grace, Clothes Closet, Havasu Helping Girls, and Casa Council.

Recipients of the group must be female and provide proof of residency in the Lake Havasu area for at least 90 days. The organization’s only request of the recipients is that they pay it forward by participating in giving back to the community.

The group presented a check to Casa Council Helping Children at last year’s O’ Christmas Tree Festival at London Bridge Resort.

The O’ Christmas Tree Festival will for sure excite the community with their holiday spirits.
