NACFD issues burn ban

KINGMAN – The Mohave County Board of Supervisors has issued Stage 2 fire restrictions within the entire county. Based on this direction, the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District #1 is instituting a fire burn ban effective immediately. The ban includes the prohibition of the sale of consumer fireworks as addressed within the Arizona Revised Statutes (ARS) 36-1606. The ban also rescinds any open burn permits issued by the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire District #1 (NACFD#1) within the last 30 days. No burn permit applications will be accepted until further notice.
