Mohave County ends Thursday with 75 virus cases

MOHAVE COUNTY –  The Mohave County Health Department MCDPH-Nursing staff was notified Wednesday evening of six COVID-19 positive cases in Mohave County. The contact investigations have been initiated with all six cases.

These five of the six cases are currently in isolation and recovering at home: The first new case is in the Bullhead City service area, is in the 45-54 year age range, and is epidemiologically-linked to another case; the second new case is in the Kingman service area and is also in the 45-54 year age range and is epidemiologically linked to another case; case three is from the Bullhead City service area, in the 65+ age range and is epidemiologically-linked to another case; the next case is a 65+ Kingman service area person and not travel-related or epi-linked to another confirmed case; the next case is in the 20-44 year age range, also from Kingman and is not travel-related or epi-linked to another confirmed case.

Finally, a 65+ age range person in the Kingman service area is hospitalized and is not travel-related or epi-linked to another confirmed case.

There are now 26 positive confirmed cases in the Lake Havasu City area, including the three deaths, 41 in Kingman, and 8 in Bullhead City. The county total is now 75 people.
