Mohave Community Orchestra hosted annual spring concert

Saturday, April 13, Kingman’s very own Mohave Community Orchestra presented its Spring Festival Concert at Kingman High School. Conductor Art Swanson led the ensemble with an opening of “Procession of the Nobles from Mlada,” and ended the evening with “A Whole Lot of Symphony Themes.” The 35-member orchestra has been in existence for about 13 years and is made up of primarily amateur musicians. “We allow all qualified students in the orchestra. We have one that joined us when she was about nine years old. The great thing about the students we do have, they play really well,” says Swanson.
