COLORADO CITY – Mohave College was pleased to be among the community, business, education and civic leaders from across northern Mohave County who gathered for the North Mohave Commerce Coalition (NMCC) Philanthropy Forum 2025. The regional event focused on strengthening collaboration around giving, infrastructure, education and community resilience.
The nonpartisan NMCC seeks ways to advance solutions in infrastructure, water, education, commerce, healthcare and community development through collaborative advocacy.
Its recent forum brought together voices from across the business, nonprofit, government and philanthropic sectors to discuss practical approaches that improve quality of life in Northern Arizona. The event also emphasized the importance of Mohave College and its Colorado City Campus as a key partner in regional workforce development and community growth.
“On behalf of the Mohave College board, I want to say how proud and thankful we are to have college leadership here as an active partner in support stronger communities, stronger families, and stronger educational pathways,” said Mohave College Board Member Nicole Bratley, whose district covers northern Mohave County. “We’re also thankful for everyone who invests their time in moving our region forward.”
This year’s forum centered on how Northern Arizona’s business and civic ecosystem can work together to expand opportunity and meet shared challenges.
