Mohave College student club hosts Flash Film Festival

MOHAVE COUNTY – Filmmakers, students and community members are invited to submit original short films to the 6th Annual Mohave Flash Film Festival, with entries now being accepted for this year’s competition.

Hosted by the Bullhead Campus Arts Club, a student led club at Mohave College, the festival encourages creative storytelling through short-form filmmaking. Participants are encouraged to create short films in various categories such as drama, comedy, musical, horror and more. The event is open to filmmakers of all experience levels, providing an opportunity to showcase work, gain recognition and compete for the top prize.

Top prizes include a $500 Amazon gift card for first place, $250 for second place and $100 for third place. A Bighorn Trophy will also be awarded for first place in each category. Submissions are due by Friday, March 27.

For submission rules and guidelines, visit Mohave.edu/film-fest. The festival is at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 16 at the Mohave College Bullhead Campus, 3400 Highway 95, bldg. 600.
