MOHAVE COUNTY– The Mohave College Men’s and Women’s Soccer teams were formally recognized by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors, receiving a proclamation in honor of their outstanding achievements during the 2025 season.
The proclamation celebrates the teams’ success on the field, as well as the dedication, teamwork, and commitment demonstrated by the student-athletes and coaching staff throughout the season. Both programs exemplified excellence while representing Mohave College with pride across the region.
Members of Mohave College leadership, athletics staff and student-athletes attended the Board of Supervisors meeting as the proclamation was presented. The recognition highlights the positive impact of collegiate athletics on student success and community engagement.
“Our Bighorn student athletes, athletics staff and Mohave College as a whole appreciate the honor bestowed upon us by the Mohave County Board of Supervisors. This proclamation signifies that the Mohave College soccer program is making our entire county and region proud,” said Dr. Tramaine Rausaw, Vice President of Student & Community Engagement. “Our student athletes and coaches work extremely hard on and off the field and this acknowledgement means the world to the program and the College. The Board of Supervisors have been great supporters of Mohave College for so many initiatives and programs over the years. We are very thankful.”
