MOHAVE COUNTY – Mohave College is inviting the public to attend upcoming budget information sessions to learn more about the college’s budget, public funding and how resources support students and communities across Mohave County.
The public information sessions will be held at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 8, with locations available at each Mohave College campus and an option to participate by Zoom. The sessions are designed to provide a clear overview of the college budget and give community members an opportunity to ask questions.
“These sessions are an opportunity for residents to learn more about how the college budget works and how public resources are used to support students, workforce training and services throughout Mohave County,” said Dr. Tim Culver, Mohave College interim president. “We want the community to have access to clear information and to understand the role the budget plays in helping the college serve students and strengthen the region.”
Public information sessions will be held at the following locations:
Bullhead City Campus, Room 201, 3400 Highway 95;
Colorado City Campus, Room 301, 480 S. Central;
Neal Campus-Kingman, Room 1104, 1971 Jagerson Ave.;
Lake Havasu City Campus, Room 204, 1977 Acoma Blvd. West.
Community members may also join the June 8 information session by Zoom. Zoom attendees will be able to use the Q&A feature to ask questions. To participate in Q&A, attendees must use client version 5.17.0 or newer, or join by web browser.
The information sessions are separate from the formal Fiscal Year 2027 Budget Hearing and Board Meeting, which will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday, June 11. The formal hearing is the official public meeting where Mohave College Board Members will consider the proposed 2026-27 fiscal year budget.
The June 11 public hearing will originate at the Lake Havasu City Campus, Room 508, 1977 Acoma Blvd. West.
