Mohave College Community Education to host spring art show & sale

A community member browses student artwork at Mohave College’s Winter Art Show & Sale, the upcoming Art Show is Saturday, May 9, 2026.

MOHAVE COUNTY – The Mohave College Community Education Division invites the community to celebrate local creativity at the Spring Art Show & Sale, hosted by the Community Education Art Club from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 9 at Mohave College Beale Street Center, 309 E. Beale Street.

The event will showcase a wide variety of original, handcrafted artwork created by students enrolled in Community Education classes. Attendees can explore and purchase one-of-a-kind pieces from disciplines including ceramics, metalsmithing, glass fusion, wire wrapping, lapidary and enameling.

More than 100 unique pieces will be on display and available for purchase, with prices ranging from $1 to $25, making it an opportunity for the community to support local artists and find meaningful, handmade gifts just in time for Mother’s Day.

“This show represents more than just artwork, it’s a reflection of the creativity and confidence our students build in class,” said Lori Gunnette, Associate Dean of Community Education & Youth Programs. “Our talented students have created unique pieces this session, each one showcasing the skills they’ve developed and the pride they take in their work. It’s exciting to see their ideas come to life and be shared with the community.”

Proceeds from the sale will support the Community Education Art Club, helping fund additional supplies and resources that enhance hands-on learning experiences for students.

The Spring Art Show & Sale continues a growing tradition of showcasing local talent while connecting the community with creative learning opportunities offered through Mohave College.
