A resident of Shakopee, Minnesota was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was operating was struck by a truck in Golden Valley last Friday. Mohave County Sheriff’s office personnel responded at 5:25 p.m. to the crash at the intersection of Colorado Rd. and Chino Dr.
Agency spokeswoman Anita Mortensen said Troy Thomas Gambucci, 46, was dead at the scene.
“Deputies determined that the motorcycle was traveling south on Colorado Rd. and came to an intersection, but failed to stop at the posted sign,” Mortensen said. “The motorcycle slid into the intersection and collided into a truck that was traveling west on Chino Rd.”
Mortensen said Gambucci was not wearing a helmet and suffered severe head trauma. No other injuries were reported.
