Mental Health First Aid training offered

KINGMAN – Western Arizona Council of Governments (WACOG) is offering a free Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health First Aid for Older Adults training course on Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office, 600 E. Beale St.

Mental Health First Aid is a free eight-hour course that teaches how to help someone who is developing a mental health issue or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders.
