Mental Health First Aid training offered

KINGMAN – Western Arizona Council of Governments (WACOG) will be hosting a free Mental Health First Aid training on Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the WACOG office, 208 N. Fourth St. This is an eight-hour course that teaches how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The training helps identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders. To register or for more information call 928-377-4962 or email melindak@wacog.com.
