LAKE HAVASU CITY – Lake View Terrace Memory Care Residence hosted a Summer Carnival for staff, patients, and family members of their residents, in support of an extremely special cause. Their Summer Carnival took place on August 21 at Lake View Terrace Memory Care Residence.

The staff of the senior care facility are dedicated and trained to accommodate the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs around the clock. The memory care team creates engaging activities for their clients while providing support as well as their compassion.

Their Summer Carnival was no exception. The assisted living organization invited other community health care companies to participate in the fundraiser such as Hospice of Havasu, River Valley Home Health, and Foundation Home Health just to name a few.

The fundraising event was free to the public and offered games, food, prizes, and raffle drawings.  All proceeds went towards The Walk to End Alzheimers, the nonprofit whose primary goal is to fight against the disease.

Walk to End Alzheimers is an annual event that is recognized for being the largest fundraiser in the world to care for those suffering from Alzheimers.
