Meet the Candidates: MCC Governing Board District 2

To help the voters learn more about the candidates running for the MCC Governing Board District 2 seat, MCC created a Meet the Candidates web page at www.Mohave.edu/MeettheCandidates.

It includes answers from each candidate to six questions from students, employees and community members. The candidates were also asked to submit a 250 word biographical statement.

The questions, answers and biographical statements submitted to the college can be viewed online at www.Mohave.edu/MeettheCandidates.

The MCC Governing Board holds a very important position in our community. Board members are elected community trustees who represent various districts throughout Mohave County, and provide oversight to ensure the college fulfills its mission to serve students and the community.

The Board governs the College on behalf of Mohave County citizens by employing, evaluating, and supporting the College President.  Board members also ensure the fiscal health and stability of the institution, set and monitor policy direction, and support and advocate for the College.

The candidate chosen on November 3rd will be the community representative for District 2, which covers the Bullhead City region.
