Mary (Jeanne) Wissinger

Mary (Jeanne) Wissinger was born March 20, 1933 in Ada, Oklahoma and passed away comfortably in her sleep on August 19, 2025 in Kingman AZ, with her husband Don at her side. Jeanne had a five year battle with Alzheimer’s. 

Jeanne spent most of her life taking care of others, as she worked in Home Health Care, including 12 years in Canada. In 1994, she opened and operated Sunrise Assisted Living Home in Yakima WA, until she retired and moved to Florida, and went back to working in HHC for a short period of time. She then resettled in Show Low AZ and finally in Kingman AZ. 

Jeanne had wonderful care by RNs Trina, Michelle, and Jessica of Family Care Home Health and Hospice of Bullhead City AZ. Also, she received excellent care by Wendy Schuetze, her great niece. 

She is survived by husband, Donald; son, Don Parr (Alice) and family in Riverside, CA; Granddaughter, Gina Hendrickson (David) and family San Antonio, TX. She has two great-great granddaughters in Texas. Also, a best friend, Shirley Carrier of Puyallup, WA. 

Jeanne was preceded in death by son, David Prieb of Bullhead City AZ and daughter, Cindy Brown of Yakima WA. 

At her request there will be no services. Sutton Memorial Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
