Married Kingman couple succumb to crash injuries

KINGMAN – Married Kingman residents have died of injuries suffered during a January 7 traffic accident in Kingman. Robert Fred Naumann, 69, and Joan P. Walsh Naumann, 80, were seriously injured when the Buick sedan he was driving was struck head on by a Hyundai Santa Fe that crossed the center line of Stockton Hill Road.

Both Naumann’s were flown to Sunrise Medical Center in Las Vegas for treatment of their injuries. Police said Mrs. Naumann died Sunday, January 19 and that her husband died Tuesday, January 21.

Police said the 19-year-old woman driving the Hyundai fell asleep before her vehicle crossed over. She suffered a broken arm.

Police said the accident investigation continues and that charges are expected.

  1. I thought that news was supposed to fill an outline of who what where and how. The what should have included the time of day and the where should be more explanatory because Stockton Hill Road is a really long road!
