Man shot to death in Topock

TOPOCK – One man is dead and a woman, Jennifer Dawn Priole, 48, of Topock, has been jailed and charged with second degree murder.

According to a Mohave County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) spokesperson, deputies responded to a residence in the 13000 block of Cove Parkway Sunday evening, May 10 for a domestic violence call from Priole, advising that she had shot the deceased man. Upon arrival deputies found the man deceased in the driveway with multiple gunshot wounds. “Priole alleged she and the victim had been arguing and a physical altercation took place, but no marks or injuries were found to confirm the allegations,” said spokesperson Anita Mortensen. Video evidence was collected as there were video surveillance cameras on site at the resident, and Priole was taken into custody.

The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. This investigation is ongoing.
