Man dies in Laughlin casino

LAUGHLIN, Nev. – A man was killed during an early Friday fight inside a Laughlin casino. Laughlin Metro police responded at 1:20 a.m. to the incident at the Aquarius Resort.

A press release indicates arriving officers found an unresponsive male on the floor of the casino. The man was pronounced dead following transport to Western Arizona Regional Medical Center in Bullhead City.

Investigators determined the violence erupted after separate groups were involved in an argument.

“The argument escalated to a physical fight between the victim and two adult males from the other group,” the news release said. “During the fight, the victim was knocked unconscious and fell to the ground.”

The suspects fled the area. The name of the deceased is withheld initially.

Anyone with information about the fight, or those involved is urged to contact the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police department (702-828-3521).
