Local grill to help raise funds for Final Journey healthcare nonprofit

LAKE HAVASU CITY – If you just so happen to be spending the Labor Day weekend in Lake Havasu, you may want to make a stop at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews. The restaurant is famous for their delicious entrees and beverages and will be partnering up with health care nonprofit, Final Journey for an all-day fundraiser.

With over 30 years’ experience in the nursing profession, founder of Final Journey Charles Perkins spent many years with hospice patients and in home care. He came to the realization that there was a lack of financial capabilities amongst family members wanting to commute to visit terminally ill relatives before they passed.

With the help of his peers, the nonprofit was created. The organization accepts nominations from hospice and provides families with travel expense coverage.

Their efforts are supported with fundraising, donations, and government grants. You can show your support by dining at the bar and grill.

Red Robin will be giving away twenty percent of all in house and carryout orders to the nonprofit. Customers must mention Final Journey’s cause to receive the discount.

The restaurant will also be providing a raffle drawing for all participating customers. This fundraiser will be taking place on Thursday, August 29 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews.  Come on out and help families travel to see their loved ones, so that they can create memories that will last a lifetime.
